Q: What’s the deal on postage? Will I pay double?
A: The postage you pay on a Reply postcard is the same as a single postcard.
Business Reply Postcard: On the reply half of the card, you are responsible for paying the return postage, but only if the recipient mails it back. Check with your Post Office for Business Reply rates and fees you will pay on the return cards.
Courtesy Reply Postcard: The postage on the reply half of the card is paid by the recipient when the card is mailed back to you.
Q: What can I put on the reply half of the card?
A: Per USPS rules, the reply half of your card can contain only response-related content. But, as with all Click2Mail products, you are free to design the card in any way you want, including text, graphics and photos.
Q: Do I still need a Business Reply permit from my local Post Office?
A: You will need to have a Business Reply permit to use Click2Mail Business Reply postcards. Typically, your permit is issued by the Post Office that will have to deliver the reply cards back to your address. You may be able to apply for a Business Reply permit on USPS.com. Make sure your Post Office™ is in PostalOne to confirm eligibility.
There is no permit required for Click2Mail Courtesy Reply postcards.
